CONTENT SUBMISSIONS
BE PART OF IT.
Misprint runs on the stories, clips, photos, rants, and chaos you send in.
If you skate, ride, shoot, write, build, crash, or create — we want it.
This ’zine is nothing without the people who actually get out there and do something.
Send us your stuff as often as you want. No gatekeeping. No industry rules. Just real people telling real stories from across Ontario.
WHAT WE ACCEPT
Stories & Articles — scene reports, trip write‑ups, interviews, rants, history pieces
Photos — skate, snow, bike, lifestyle, DIY builds, community moments
Videos — raw clips, edits, event recaps, spot builds
Art — illustrations, posters, zine pages, graphics
Music — local bands, playlists, mixtapes
Anything that feels like Ontario’s scene
If it’s original, honest, local, and has heart, it belongs here.
HOW TO SUBMIT
Email everything to:
WRITERS
Attach your story as a Word, Google Doc, or RTF
Include your name, city, and contact info
Keep formatting simple — we’ll handle layout
Grammar/spellcheck helps, but raw voice is better than perfect polish
No double‑spacing every line
PHOTOGRAPHERS
Send high‑resolution images (minimum 3×4" at 300dpi for print consideration)
Include skater/rider name, location, photographer name
File naming helps but isn’t mandatory
Vertical or horizontal — both fine
We can’t reply to every submission, but we look at everything
VIDEO CREATORS
Send a download link (Youtube, Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer)
Include names, locations, and any context you want included
Raw clips or finished edits — both welcome
ARTISTS & DESIGNERS
Submit PNG, JPG, or PDF
Tell us how you want to be credited
If it’s part of a series or zine page, let us know
EDITING & PUBLISHING
By submitting content to Misprint, you’re giving us permission to:
Publish it on the site
Use it in the digital ’zine
Feature it on our social channels
Edit lightly for clarity, length, or layout (your voice stays yours)
We don’t sell your work.
We don’t license it out.
We don’t profit off your submissions.
This is a community project — your work stays yours.
If you ever want something removed or updated, just email us.
WHAT GETS PICKED
We’re a small Ontario crew building something real.
We choose pieces that:
Are original works - Don’t steal
Feel authentic
Represent the local scene
Show effort, heart, or chaos
Inspire someone to get out and be active
If your piece doesn’t get published right away, keep sending stuff.
People who show up consistently get noticed.
PORTFOLIOS
If you’re a photographer or creator who wants to share a full portfolio without it being published:
Send a link and clearly state: “Portfolio Only — Do Not Publish.”
We’ll check it out and keep you in mind for future features.
