Good man, drummer and filmmaker Curtis “Curt” Carriere is coming out with a new skateboarding film called Access Codes 2. A sequel to his first film of the same name. He will be premiering Access Codes 2 along with Access Codes on April 25th at Pocket Skate and Vintage in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.

Trading comfort for the unknown—booking flights, packing decks, and chasing pavement through New York City. I’ve always travelled with my board, but it was more of a security blanket than a mission. This time, it was the reason.

Claiming space isn’t always a bold act. More often, it looks like persistence: showing up, falling, and continuing anyway. From local schoolyards to global collectives, girls aren't waiting for permission to participate or an invitation to the culture. They are already here, building something of their own—one session and one attempt at a time.
